Fanshawe College - Innovation Village

This project involved the renovation and redevelopment of Fanshawe College’s L building (Learning Resource Centre) into an innovation center and learning commons to support the Innovation Village.  This project was completed in phases;

Phase 1

 Assist with relocation of Homework Lab (5,474ft2) and Leap Junction (1,800ft2) to temp location; Redevelopment of vacated spaces (9,000ft2) including information square (training, library collections, research, study, collaboration spaces) bookable study and indigenous spirit facility.

Phase 2

Renovation of L Building (33,000ft2), Infill of second floor (1,600ft2) Connection of L & F second floor to H Building, Design of a universal compliant elevator in L Building, Administrative offices, Phased redevelopment of arrival precinct\New link to second floor SUB.

Phase 3

Demolition of east section of SUB Forwell Hall (7,300ft2); New 2 storey addition to Sub (24,000ft2).
