The Margaret Bahen Hospice is a residential care facility located in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. The hospice provides specialized care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses, and their families. It is a warm and inviting place that feels like a home, providing a comfortable and peaceful environment for patients to spend their final days. The facility has 10 private rooms, each equipped with its own bathroom and a pull-out couch for family members who wish to stay overnight.
The hospice's team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, personal support workers, and physicians, provide 24-hour care and support for patients and their families. They work closely with the patient's primary care physician to ensure continuity of care and address any specific needs or concerns. The hospice also provides a variety of support services, including pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, and bereavement counseling.
