This two storey structure totaling of 27,000sqft, was constructed in the town of St. Mary's as an addition to the existing St. Mary's Memorial Hospital. The design includes a fitness centre, physician suites and a medical centre. All of these functions are organized around a two storey rotunda gathering hall. The design also incorporates an elevated connecting link to the main hospital.

VB&S was able to incorporate the economy of a load bearing concrete block vertical system along with precast concrete floor planks in this geometrically complex structure. The high level of detail on the structural contract documents reduced extra costs associated with the construction of the structure.
