Western University Weldon Library Revitalization

Weldon Library is the largest library on Western University’s campus. This library revitalization will be phased over several years.

This first phase will see changes to 5th floor making space for User Services, User Experience, and Research & Scholarly Communications staff. The new space will have open and private workspace, meeting rooms, focus rooms and a kitchen/lounge.

The library’s learning commons will be renovated—space which spreads over the main floor & mezzanine levels. New space will include general learning, technology enhanced learning and community event space. New Student Services consultation hub and a Service Point will also be housed here.

Other renovations in this phase are infrastructure related, and space for collections growth.
