The Oxford County Administration Building, located at 21 Reeve Street in Woodstock, Ontario, serves as the central hub for the county's administrative functions. Completed in 2008, this four-story structure was designed by the architectural firm Tillmann Ruth Robinson Inc. and constructed by Ellis Don Construction.
Architecturally, the building reflects a contemporary design that harmoniously integrates with the historical context of downtown Woodstock. The use of materials and the building's scale were thoughtfully chosen to complement the area's rich architectural heritage.
The structure includes a two-story council chamber with clear height, accommodating various council configurations and supporting broadcasting technology. Additionally, the building functions as the emergency disaster headquarters for the county, constructed to provide shelter during emergencies. Demonstrating a commitment to environmental responsibility, the building achieved LEED Silver certification, highlighting its energy-efficient design.
