Since opening in 2004, Starlim North America’s London plant has grown into a flagship LSR injection-molding facility. Originally 65,000 ft² with five injection presses, it underwent a major $20 million expansion between 2016 and 2018 to add 180,000 ft²—including three new production bays, post-curing ovens, and ISO 7/8 cleanrooms—tripling capacity without disrupting ongoing production. The building features a two-story office tower and an innovative basement-level dosing system that supports 24/7 automated operations using ENGEL injection machines.

Manufacturing at the facility focuses on high-volume, precision liquid silicone rubber (LSR) parts—primarily for the life sciences (≈50%), automotive (~30%), and industrial (~20%) sectors—with defect rates as low as 0.5 parts per million. The 235,000 ft² state-of-the-art facility operates year-round with a workforce of around 150 employees and over 80 molding machines. It serves as a key North American manufacturing hub, supplying components to both domestic and international markets.
