At VanBoxmeer & Stranges (VB&S), we love when structure does more than just hold up a building—it helps shape how people connect. That’s exactly what you’ll find at Western University’s Ronald D. Schmeichel Building for Entrepreneurship and
Innovation (SEIB). Sitting at a busy campus crossroads, the building’s bold boomerang form draws everyone into a bright double-height lobby—a true hub of energy and collaboration.
Our structural design makes it possible for SEIB to flex and adapt: from maker spaces to event venues to co-working zones, all with the strength and openness to keep pace with what’s next.
Canadian Architect recently highlighted this project authored by our collaborators at Perkins + Will, and we’re proud to have played a part in its success!
