Brad Stott, P.Eng.
Partner
A Partner at VanBoxmeer & Stranges Engineering Ltd., Brad has been an integral part of the team since 2002. With over two decades of experience and a practical, solutions-focused mindset, he has earned a reputation for calmly navigating even the most complex structural challenges—whether he's designing from scratch or tackling upgrades to existing facilities.
Since 2007, Brad has led the design and administration of some of the largest and most technically demanding projects undertaken by VB&S, consistently delivering well-coordinated, high-performing solutions under pressure. His approach is grounded in a straightforward philosophy: break big problems down, solve them piece by piece, and always aim for efficient, constructible results.
That mindset has guided his work across a broad and varied portfolio of commercial, institutional, industrial, and recreational projects—including the Niagara Speedway Go-Kart Track, one of VB&S’s most uniquely challenging and rewarding designs.
Known for his responsiveness and clarity, Brad takes pride in getting answers to clients quickly and effectively. He’s passionate about mentoring others, contributing to the engineering growth of his teams, and championing the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) through Revit to streamline coordination. Around the office, he's known for his quiet sense of humor, reliable answers, and steady presence that helps keep projects—and people—moving forward.
